Each school in the district will have two $500 teacher grants available for special projects in the classroom. In order to secure a grant, an application must be turned in early in the school year. Application forms will be available below by 8/22/25 with a deadline for submittal no later than September 30, 2025. The classroom Grant application is found below.
Each school has two $500 grants, but if the total of grants does not exceed $1000, it is possible to have three or four grants. If you submit a grant request that shows a budget over $500, that grant request will not be considered, unless you show other funding sources.
As of November 1, 2025 there are no grant funds available from the NEF. You should check out the Other Grant Sources.

Judging of the grant applications is based on the following criteria:
Originality (Innovation)
Professionalism (well written)
Benefits to Students
Student Involvement (Number of students impacted)
Age appropriate
Quality of project evaluation processBudget Details

We recommend that you complete the application in one sitting. Perhaps write the answers in Word, then just copy and paste into the form. If you are in the middle of the form and have to stop, the answers are saved in your browser and should be available to you at a later time.
We also recommend that you save a copy of your grant request. Unfortunately we cannot fund all requests. If you save your information, you can edit and improve for the next application period.
